| December 09 | Going Mac We just finished the delicate transition of our office IT infrastructure to Apple technology. Before we used a Linux rack server with PCs and Mac clients. Today we are using a Leopard Snow Server running on a Mac Mini with iMac, PCs and laptops. Backup is via an external hard-drive run by Time Machine. Plus we all enjoy VPN based remote access to files, shared Address Book and iCal for our Mac Air and Mac Books. Sweet Apple technology made our life a lot easier. |

| December 08 | Captcha security question on send-page template for all clients All clients now can enjoy a bit more of security for their website. Captcha (see Wikipedia for more information) requires that the user type letters or digits from a distorted image that appears at the bottom of the form. We added that to the send-page template in all active clients hosted in our servers. |
| September 08 | Wondering when that page was deleted and by who? Added a new tab that displays all logged editorial operations ever done on your site. Even if the tab is brand new, we started logging all operations since 3 years ago - so it's very likely you'll find the log you're looking for.  |
| Backup and restoring Since a long time we setup a dedicated backup that every night copies all websites, databases, emails, etc. and keep a separated daily version of everything for two weeks. Today, we added a new tab into ESY Web Builder that allow clients to directly restore any page of any available daily backup version, in a single click.  | |
| Monitor Hosting + manage emails accounts Just released ESY Web Builder 4.3 that includes a new tab that allow each client to monitor its site(s) hosting space, current bandwidth, create/delete emails accounts, etc.  The new tab represents an additional step to improve the CMS integration with the underlying server infrastructure - an integration that is one of our key differentiation points compared to the crowded open-source competition. | |
| May 08 | Improved Server infrastructure We installed a new powerful production server and migrated all clients to it. The new server will be soon connected to a secondary server that will take over automatically in case of failure of the master server. The new infrastructure allows high speed and availability. ESY Web Builder 4.1 released We added a couple of interesting features: eMailing Module - A simple marketing module to send marketing messages, newsletters, etc. to propects, clients, extranet members, partners, etc. eMailing module - fully integrated into ESY Web Builder. Global search - Introduced a practical search utility that scans web pages (title, body), users profiles and email messages (draft, sent). Import / Export (improved) - It features a new import / export of users profiles form/to Ms. Excel, and export pages' content to Excel as well. |
