| Dec 09 | Going Mac We just finished the delicate transition of our office IT infrastructure to Apple technology. Before we used a Linux rack server with PCs and Mac clients. Today we are using a Leopard Snow Server running on a Mac Mini with iMac, PCs and laptops. Backup is via an external hard-drive run by Time Machine. Plus we all enjoy VPN based remote access to files, shared Address Book and iCal for our Mac Air and Mac Books. Sweet Apple technology made our life a lot easier. |
