ESY WEB Builder can manage a number of different type of document formats Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xls), Adobe PDF (.pdf), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt), and so forth. In ESY Web Builder documents are handled through the Asset manager. You can upload a document and link it to text or image on any page.
To upload a document and create a link to it on a page, follow these steps:
- Create a new page or edit any existing page.
- In the editor, select the text you want to link the document to, and click the hyperlink
button on the editor toolbar: - In the Link window, which opens, click the Browse icon.

- The Assets manager opens. Here you can either create a new folder for the document or browse
through files on your computer to select one you will upload. ESY allows you to upload a document of any format (though to open it, the visitor would need a client program which can handle files of that type). 
- After uploading a file, you will see it in the list of documents on the server. Click its name to create a link to it. Then, set any additional properties of how the file should open in the Link Manager window and click ok.
- Similarly, to modify which file is linked to a text, select the text, which is linked and follow the procedure described above.
