Layouts can be used to define how information are displayed in your site web pages. It could just be a heading-normal text combination or a three-column newspaper-style organization. ESY Web Builder allows inserting one Layout when creating new pages (but you cannot change layout after the page is created). An unlimited number of layouts can be prepared (using HTML / CSS coding) and loaded inLAYOUTS. Creating new Layouts requires basic knowledge of HTML / CSS and is usually done via tools like Dreamwever.
To create a new LAYOUT follow the steps below:
- Login to ESY Web Builder
- Click LAYOUTS tab at the top of the screen.

- Click New Layout in the left menu.
- In the right display, specify the name of the new Layout, a description, and also a preview thumbnail for it if one is available. Finally, enter the HTML code of the new LAYOUT (it is suggested to prepare LAYOUTS with an external editor such as Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver).
- When done, click Save. The new LAYOUT becomes an available option when creating new pages.
- Login to ESY Web Builder
- Click LAYOUTS tab at the top of the screen.
- To modify a LAYOUT's parameters (name, thumbnail, HTML code), click its name.

- To delete a LAYOUT, click the Delete button. In the confirmation screen which follows, either click Delete again to confirm or Close to cancel this step. Once deleted, a LAYOUT will no longer be available for new content. Existing pages based on it will continue to work normally.
- If you are only changing the parameters of a LAYOUT, when finished, click the Save button to save changes.
