Tables provide an accessible way to present organized information. Most web pages online today use them in one form or another to show text in columns as in a newspaper, to constrain text from flowing outside the viewer's visible screen space or just to provide a column of figures with a clear heading. ESY WEB Builder allows you to add and manipulate a table through MS Word-like commands.
To insert a table, follow these steps:
- Create a new page or edit any existing page.
- In the editor, click the point in the page where you want to insert a table. Click the insert table button
and select the size of the table to be created by moving your mouse. - The table is created with default settings. You may then start filling in cell contents or modify table options (see below):

To modify the table's size or delete a table, follow these steps:

- Ensure your cursor is within the table you want to edit and select Table Size from the Edit Table/Cell button
. - You may navigate within the table behind and apply multiple changes.

To modify the table's appearance properties, follow these steps:

(see previous page). The Table Properties window appears.

- Give the scope of application of these settings (only to the current selected cell or cells, to the entire row or column, or to the entire table) here
- You may review how individual options will look also by clicking the apply button.
- When finished with all modifications, click ok.
- For any more complex text formatting using tables (such as table within a table), consult your website administrator. To use a table structure repetitively, is it possible to create a layout.
